The Challenge
Our partnership began with an in-depth exploration of Wavepiston’s unique position in the wave energy market, which is in a critical stage of development similar to wind energy two decades ago. We identified gaps in their assets and messaging, particularly around communicating their technology’s potential and their business case to investors and customers.
However, fragmented messaging and reliance on multiple specialists were holding them back. They needed an ongoing creative partner to offer consultation and strategy to their brand, streamline communications, and deliver materials tailored to investors and customers.


Simplifying Complexity
There is a lot of healthy competition in the wave energy sector with companies pushing to become the established standard technology. We identified gaps in their assets and messaging, particularly around communicating their unique technology’s potential and their business case to investors and customers.
We refreshed Wavepiston’s visual identity, laying the foundation for a cohesive brand and compelling storytelling, reflecting their innovation and ambition. Next, we created a new website to showcase their technology, updates, and business case for investors.
Our collaboration extended to developing a suite of materials, including 3D visualisations, animations, investor pitch decks, and social templates. This included crafting sharper messaging and tailoring content to resonate with their different audiences.
